RAD5 Hosts Tech Learning Program In Aba

In an intentional drive to build a sustainable and engaging  community of tech specialists and professionals, Andela through her Andela Learning Community (ALC) program recently partnered with RAD5 Tech Hub, alongside other technology hubs and technology platforms across Africa.

ALC is a network of technologists and tech enthusiasts across Africa dedicated to learning how to use technology to solve humanity’s problems. 

The program facilitates learning through the aid of guided mentorship from super awesome learning community ambassadors. 

At the ALC program in Aba, Abia State, 42 selected participants were exposed to tools and resources to help them scale their skillset and grow in their technology knowledge.

The program which officially kicked off in February offered code lab and networking sessions, alongside new tools, strategy and improved technology solutions.

While speaking at the program, the ALC Ambassador for Abia State, Trust Onyekwere, noted that the program which is meant to last for the duration of five months will not only improve rookie techies, but also add to the knowleRAD5 Hosts Tech Learning Program In Aba.

He further explained that the focus of the program is not only on the area of technical skills, but also in the area of job connection and certification.

“It’s amazing how programs like this bring together enthusiastic and genius minds to share knowledge and actively interact. ALC keeps improving over the years, and what the program is doing across the tech ecosystem in Africa is what we can’t even describe with words. Right now, Google is involved to provide the participants with certifications that will assist them to land job placements nationally and even globally.
