At RAD5 Tech Hub, we are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of six of our students who, after just three months of training, successfully qualified for the prestigious National Data Science Nigeria AI Hackathon! Competing against 412 data experts across Nigeria, our students submitted a couple of impressive projects, demonstrating their incredible skill, dedication, and passion for data analytics.
This remarkable achievement highlights the effectiveness of the Data Analytics training by RAD5 Tech Hub sponsored by the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND). These students are a testament to the transformative power of education and the potential of young talents to make waves in the tech industry.
Special Guest Visit: Chukwuka Oforgu
As we celebrate our students’ success, we are excited to host a special guest visit and training session by Chukwuka Oforgu, a UK-based data scientist with a stellar background in data analysis and business intelligence. With multiple certifications, including Microsoft Power BI Analyst and CompTIA Data+, Chukwuka brings invaluable expertise and experience that will inspire and empower the next generation of tech enthusiasts at RAD5 Tech Hub.
On Thursday, October 10th, 2024, Chukwuka will lead a training session titled “How Predictive Analytics is Shaping the Future.” He will delve into the practical applications of predictive analytics in industries such as healthcare, finance, and marketing. This session is an exciting opportunity for our students to gain deep insights into how data-driven decisions can drive innovation and efficiency across sectors.

This visit by Chukwuka Oforgu is not just a training session—it represents a stepping stone for our students, especially those who have already demonstrated their talent at the AI Hackathon. The data analyst students and the rest of the RAD5 cohort will have the chance to learn from an industry leader, equipping them with knowledge that could further elevate their already impressive skills.

By nurturing talent like Chioma and Tracy, who have already developed six apps including Batimus, a productivity tool now live on the Google Play Store, RAD5 Tech Hub is proving that technology education is the key to unlocking the untapped potential within our communities.
