Abia Technology & Innovation Network (ATIN) Ecosystem Tour Makes Impactful Stop at RAD5 Tech Hub

The energy was high and the atmosphere charged with purpose as the Abia Technology and Innovation Network (ATIN), in collaboration with the Abia State Government, successfully concluded a two-day ecosystem tour across key innovation hubs in Abia State on March 27–28, 2025.

One of the major highlights of this tour was the visit to RAD5 Tech Hub, where innovation meets action. The tour brought together prominent figures including the Honourable Commissioner for Science, Technology and Innovation, Mr. David Kalu. ATIN Chairman, Mr. Daniel Chinagozi, as well as respected media houses like Channels TV, TVC News, ABN, and other distinguished guests from across the state.

The visit was an opportunity for stakeholders to gain first-hand insight into the amazing work being done at RAD5 Tech Hub an innovation-driven space that empowers young people in primary and underserved communities through hands-on technology training.

At RAD5 Tech Hub, we proudly offer high-impact tech skill training in areas such as:

Data Analytics

The RAD5 Tech Hub Students In Training

We are particularly excited about the growth of Women in Tech within our ecosystem. Currently, women represent 37% of our tech talent pipeline, and we are on a mission to grow that number to 50% in the coming years through inclusive programs, mentorship, and intentional community building.

This visit validates the progress being made in Abia’s innovation ecosystem and signals a brighter future powered by technology, youth empowerment, and cross-sector collaboration.
